Kamelo is live on Microsoft Edge
If Edge is your browser, you can now get Kamelo from the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store. Free, like always.
Say Edge is the browser your laptop came with, and you never saw a reason to change it. You use Copilot for work emails and ChatGPT for everything else. Personal details go into both.
You shouldn’t have to switch browsers to keep them out.
What’s new
Kamelo is now in the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store. It’s the same Kamelo: it masks names, addresses, phone numbers, bank details and more on your device, before they reach ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot or other AI, and puts them back in the answer on your screen.
It also works in AI features on other sites, such as “Help me write” in Gmail, Slack AI and Notion AI. On any other site, Mask every text field in the popup turns it on.
The welcome page follows your browser. Edge shows an eye icon where Chrome shows a pin, so the steps tell you what you’ll actually see.
Make sure it’s the real one
Only the listings linked from kamelo.eu are ours. To check, open edge://extensions, turn on Developer mode and look at the ID under Kamelo. The official Edge ID is kjjenbhncoomobcdpbhljmhfcmanhbkj.
Kamelo never asks for an account, a password or a payment.
Honest about limits
The Copilot panel built into Edge’s sidebar is part of the browser itself, and Microsoft doesn’t let any extension work there. Use Copilot in a normal tab at copilot.microsoft.com instead, or paste your text into Mask text in the Kamelo popup first.
Firefox is coming soon.
Your browser, your details, kept out.
Since version 1.5.0, masking names and details is part of Kamelo Business. The free extension focuses on Melo, Kamelo’s private chat.
